Program Description
A Quality Handyman Customer Service Texts is a transactional / customer-care text messaging program operated by A Quality Handyman LLC, Albuquerque, NM. When you opt in, we may text you about your estimates, appointments, scheduling and arrival windows, job progress and photos, invoices and payment receipts, and customer-service follow-ups related to work you requested. This program is not used for marketing or promotional messages.
How Consent Is Collected
Consent is collected only through an optional, unchecked-by-default checkbox on our website forms where you provide a phone number. Checking the box is never required to submit a form, request an estimate, book service, or create an account. The disclosure shown next to every checkbox reads:
“I agree to receive SMS messages from A Quality Handyman regarding estimates, appointments, scheduling, job updates, payments, and customer service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

When you opt in we record the date and time, the form you used, the phone number you provided, and the consent language displayed. Customers who leave the box unchecked are not enrolled. You may also text START to our business number to re-subscribe after opting out.
Message frequency
Varies based on your active estimates, appointments and jobs. Most customers receive a few messages per project.
Cost
We do not charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Supported carriers
Major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent is not a condition of purchase
You can receive every service we offer without opting in to texts — we will reach you by phone or email instead.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive a single confirmation text and no further messages. You can also opt out by calling (505) 219-7816 or emailing admin@aqualityhandyman.com. Opt-out requests are recorded and honored immediately.
